Honoring the difference-makers in our community

At Live Oaks Photography, we believe in more than just beautiful photos, we believe in people, community, and the power of kindness to create real, lasting impact.

The IMPACT Award was originally created to celebrate the people making a difference right here in our community, both high school seniors and local small business owners.

Teens often get a bad rap, but year after year, we’ve seen something different. We’ve seen seniors leading with heart, showing up for others, overcoming hard things, and making a meaningful impact in ways that deserve to be recognized and celebrated.

And as this award has grown, so has something else…

The response.

The nominations.

The stories.

The way this community rallies around these teens and speaks life into them.

After seeing the overwhelming participation around our senior recipients, and how deeply that encouragement has resonated, it became clear that this is where the momentum (and the need) is especially strong right now.

So this year, we’re leaning into that in a bigger way.

Instead of one senior and one small business owner, we’ll be celebrating TWO rising high school seniors.

These are the students who go above and beyond, not for recognition, but because it’s who they are. They lead with kindness, spread positivity, serve others well, and bring light to the people around them. They reflect the same values we hold close at Live Oaks Photography: kindness, integrity, service, love, and joy.

Nominations and voting are open to the public, because we know you see the good happening around you, and we want to hear about it.

Each winner will receive a Senior Express session (valued at over $1000!) to help them feel celebrated and seen.
