Honoring the difference-makers in our community

At Live Oaks Photography, we believe in more than just beautiful photos—we believe in people, community, and the power of kindness to create real, lasting impact. The IMPACT Award was created to honor the people who are quietly (or boldly!) making a difference in the world around them—especially two groups we care deeply about: high school seniors and local small business owners. Teens often get a bad rap, but we see so many who are doing amazing things, leading with heart and showing up for others in big ways. And small business owners? They’re the heartbeat of our community—pouring time, talent, and love into this place we call home. This award is our way of celebrating those who are making a positive impact right where they (and we) are.

Each year, we highlight two incredible individuals:

✨ A local small business owner

These are the people who go above and beyond—not for recognition, but because it’s who they are. They lead with kindness, spread positivity, serve others well, and bring light to the people around them. They reflect the same values we hold close at Live Oaks Photography: kindness, integrity, service, love, and joy.

Nominations and voting are open to the public, because we know you see the good happening around you—and we want to hear about it! Each winner will receive a Senior Express or Branding Express session (valued at over $1000!) to help them feel celebrated and seen.
