Hey Y’all! It’s hard to believe we’ve already started a new year…graduation is so close, I’m sure you can feel it! With that, for some of you, may also come a feeling of dread that you’ve let time get away from you and you haven’t scheduled your senior photo session yet. OOPS! Not to worry though, Spring is a fantastic time to schedule a senior session in Newnan, Peachtree City, and Senoia GA! Here at Meredith Kavanaugh Photography we love spring sessions for SO many reasons! To calm those “oops” moment fears, here’s a little list of a few reasons why SPRING senior photo sessions are some of my favorite!

1. Those Gorgeous Spring COLORS!

One of the best things about spring is all the gorgeous color that is everywhere you look! From beautiful flowers in full bloom, the green grass everywhere, or bright blue sky with puffy white clouds, Mother Nature sure does like to show off around here in the spring! One of my favorite locations in the spring is downtown Senoia. Thanks to the Senoia Garden Club, this little town really shows out and makes the perfect backdrop with beautiful pops of color!

2. No Sweating Required

I don’t have to tell you that here in Newnan, Fayetteville, and Peachtree City, GA we get more than our fair share of heat and humidity. Now, the professional hair and makeup I cover for my Senior Experience clients definitely helps, it doesn’t change the fact that it is nine thousand degrees outside and we are all melting. Spring weather helps us stay cool and fresh during your session, so you can focus more on having the best time ever instead of whether or not you are going to melt into a puddle!

3. No Interfering With Fall Sports

If you are busy giving your all to your fall sport, you don’t want to miss a game or practice to have senior photos taken. Keep focusing on bringing your A-Game on the field and just schedule those photos for the Spring!

4. Fresh Vibrant Spring Styles

Now don’t get me wrong, I love a good cozy sweater, but there’s just something about coming out of hibernation and throwing on those fresh spring styles, full of vibrant color, that makes me come alive! Take a look at my past seniors and its no secret that I love color! We are definitely blessed in this are with the most adorable boutiques to find the perfect outfit to add to your wardrobe for your session. One of my favorite things about Senior Experience sessions is all the outfit changes…so get together with your mom and have a girls’ day! From Ellie Mack Boutique in Newnan to Frankly My Dear Boutique in Senoia to Lizard Thicket in Peachtree City, you’re sure to find all you need for your spring wardrobe and your senior photos right in our area! Then again…a shopping trip in Atlanta isn’t a bad idea either…

5. Cap and Gown + College Decision Photos!

Don’t love the cap and gown photo you got from school that's exactly like everyone else’s? Want some great images to show off the college you’ve chosen? If you’ve got your senior pictures scheduled for the spring, this one’s a no brainer!
