The inaugural Live Oaks Photography IMPACT Award was awarded to Autumn, an East Coweta High School class of 2025 Senior. After working with her, it’s clear why she was the top choice. Thanks to your votes, Autumn received a custom senior photo session with Live Oaks Photography and we are so excited to share it with you!
The Live Oaks Photography IMPACT Award
Earlier this year, we proudly rebranded from Meredith Kavanaugh Photography to Live Oaks Photography, marking a new chapter in our journey. Alongside this rebrand, we launched our annual IMPACT Award—a special recognition created to honor individuals in our Coweta and Fayette county communities who embody our core values of kindness, integrity, service, love, and joy. This award is our way of shining a light on the positivity that surrounds us each day.
Each year, we’ll celebrate one standout senior (this year from the class of 2025) and a small business owner, both chosen by you. This year, your votes led us to an exceptional winner for rising senior—Autumn. Her selflessness, love, and infectious joy during her session perfectly captured what the IMPACT Award is all about. Thank you all for selecting such a deserving recipient!
East Coweta High School Senior: Meet Autumn
Autumn is a class of 2025 senior at East Coweta High school. Not only is she absolutely gorgeous, but this girl is amazing in front of the camera and made our job SO easy! Autumn is the drum major for the East Coweta Marching Indians, plays French horn, and enjoys dance and participating in indoor percussion. Autumn is kind and funny, and she’s just an absolute joy to be around. She has this humble confidence about her, mixed with the most fun down to earth personality, and it really shines through in the images we captured!
The Senior Experience Session: Model For A Day
The IMPACT Award included a Senior Express session which Autumn upgraded to the full Live Oaks Photography Senior Experience. Autumn started the day being pampered with professional hair and makeup services from Jordan Petefish who did an amazing job enhancing her already natural beauty for a flawless, camera-ready look.
A Customized Photo Experience
We customized the session to reflect Autumn’s interests and personality, just like we do for every senior session here at Live Oaks Photography. Our first location for the day was at East Coweta High School’s stadium, where Autumn directs the marching band, supporting the football team and entertaining the crowd.
Starrs Mill Senior Photos
Next up we headed to the iconic Starrs Mill, a popular spot for senior pictures and movie scenes (think Sweet Home Alabama). Here we showcased Autumn’s musical talent with her French horn, her love of reading, and captured some fun and feminine shots in front of the waterfall.
Senior Photos in Downtown Senoia
Our final location was downtown Senoia, where we captured some of our favorite images of the entire session. She looks amazing in that red doesn’t she?! We waited for sunset and used off-camera lighting for some dramatic final shots. The perfect end to the perfect session!
Beautiful Heirloom Albums and Prints
At Live Oaks Photography, we don’t just leave you with a thumb drive full of images to deal with-- we guide you through selecting your favorites and choosing how to display them on professionally printed products. For Autumn’s session, we created a beautiful 10x10 heirloom album with a linen cover, an 8x8 companion album, and gift prints. Watching Autumn and her mom’s reactions as they flipped through her album on delivery day was such a joy! These albums will be cherished heirlooms, allowing Autumn to share her memories of the IMPACT Award and senior session with her children, grandchildren, and beyond….yes, they last THAT long!
A Heartfelt Thank You and a Look Ahead
We had such a great time capturing Autumn, our 2024 IMPACT Award winner, during her Senior Experience session in Senoia, GA! From her high school stadium at ECHS to the iconic Starr's Mill and the quaint streets of downtown Senoia, each location brought out a different side of her story. It was a joy to celebrate her achievements in places that hold so much meaning for her.
A big thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate and vote—it really made this award something special. We’re already excited about next year’s IMPACT Award and can’t wait to see who we’ll be celebrating next!
